Overview
Wolke Landscaping is a family-owned landscaping company based in Sigel, Illinois, serving the greater Effingham and Lake Sara areas. With deep roots in the landscaping industry through their family-run nursery, the Wolke team specializes in high-end residential and commercial projects—including patios, water features, boulder walls, and sod installation. The company came to me with no existing website and a need for a professional online presence that reflected the craftsmanship and growth of their landscaping division.
The Client
Wolke Landscaping is operated by brothers Monte and Michael Wolke, who revived and expanded the landscaping arm of the family nursery business in 2019. With a hands-on approach to each project and a reputation for quality work across Central Illinois, they needed a website that could match their high standards and make it easier to communicate with both new and existing customers.
The Challenge
Wolke Landscaping had a poor website, limited digital visibility, and an outdated method for communicating with clients. Whenever a customer wanted to browse material options, the team had to manually text or email product links from suppliers—creating unnecessary friction. They also lacked a system for capturing leads or booking consultations efficiently. The primary goal was to create a clean, modern site that could serve as a marketing tool, lead funnel, and customer resource hub all in one.
My Approach
I designed and developed a fully custom website tailored to Wolke Landscaping’s brand, services, and customer journey. The project included: Modern, mobile-responsive design built in Framer, optimized for both desktop and mobile users. Full copywriting for every page, written to reflect their family legacy, service expertise, and Central Illinois roots. A streamlined consultation process with a built-in contact form that redirects to a thank-you page and connects with their scheduling software. A dynamic gallery and before-and-after slider to visually showcase their craftsmanship. A custom-built Resources page, housing links to all supplier product catalogs so customers can browse materials on their own—eliminating the need for manual texts or emails. SEO-optimized structure with meta tags, headers, and content designed to rank for local landscaping searches.
The Results
Wolke Landscaping now has a professional digital presence that reflects the quality of their work and makes it easy for customers to take action. The site supports their lead-generation efforts, simplifies client communication, and positions them competitively in the Effingham-area landscaping market. The new Resources page alone has streamlined one of their most time-consuming client communication workflows. With the RepBoost tools added post-launch, the website is set to serve as a long-term growth asset for the business.
